On 26 November 2023, Israeli warplanes conducted airstrikes in addition to Israeli fighters shelling the Damascus - International Airport in Rural Damascus, putting it out of service. The airport had returned to service a day prior after being previously put out of service by Israeli airstrikes. In response, regime air defense members launched missiles from the vicinity of Kisweh later after the attack, but it is still not clear where these missiles landed. Casualties unknown.
