On 28 November 2023, near Ohn Taw (North) village (Sagaing township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Phoenix Special Guerrilla Force, Royal Falcon Guerrilla Force, People's Defense Force - Sagaing District (B-7) and the Unicorn Guerrilla Force attacked about 20 military soldiers on two military vehicles from the No.6005 military base with mines. The two vehicles were heading to Mar Le Taw village to retrieve the body of a Pyu Saw Htee member killed on November 27 (coded separately). Khit Thit Media reported a military soldier was killed and another military soldier was injured. Myanmar Pressphoto Agency reported two military soldiers were killed. Fatalities coded as 1 for the most up-to-date estimates.
