On 28 November 2023, in Amarapura township (Mandalay district, Mandalay region), a bomb explosion occurred at the administration office of Otaw ward at around 6 pm. The bomb explosion was carried out by the Aung Si Taw - Mandalay as part of 'Operation Shwe Taungpan.' Casualties unknown.
