On 29 November 2023, a bomb fired from a pumpi gun belonging to unidentified armed assailants exploded in Haotak village area located between Bishnupur and Churachandpur districts (coded to Samulamlam village, Bishnupur. Manipur) amidst ongoing conflict between Meitei and Tribal communities in the state. There were no casualties.
