On 30 November 2023, in Ywar Shey village (Taze township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the military conducted airstrikes by dropping two 500lb bombs on the village at around 2 am. One of the bombs landed in a Mango farm and another landed on a school, destroying a school building and some roofs of a hospital nearby. There were no casualties.
