On 30 November 2023, near Pauktaw town (Pauktaw township, Sittwe district, Rakhine state), the Myanmar military navy ships stationed in Ngapyi island fired heavy weapons from 12:15 pm to 12:45 pm continuously, fell near the Pauktaw town harbor and houses were burned. Casualties unknown.
