On 19 November 2023, in Myo Thit village (Namhsan township, Pa Laung Self-Administered Zone, Shan-North state), the military conducted airstrikes by dropping 500 lb bombs at around 11:30 pm, hitting and destroying a total of 25 houses. DVB, Khit Thit Media and Radio Free Asia reported that a child and a man were killed and 8 other locals, including six women and two men were injured. Other sources, Shan Herald Agency for News and VOA reported 3 locals including 2 children were killed and 12 were injured. Fatalities coded as 3 for the most up-to-date estimates.
