On 19 November 2023, near Na Bar village (Indaw township, Katha district, Sagaing region), the military conducted airstrikes by dropping about six air bombs and firing machine guns along the Saw Maw Chaung area above the Na Bar road intersection at around 2 pm, destroying some market shops. DVB reported a woman was killed and a family of 3 on a motorcycle and a florist couple in the market were injured. In other news, Radio Free Asia and Kachin News Group reported a 30-year-old woman was killed and two other men were injured. Following the airstrikes, the military from Indaw town fired artillery rounds on the Saw Maw Chaung area until 5 pm. Fatalities coded as 1.
