On 21 November 2023, in Nam Pawng village (Lashio township, Lashio district, Shan-North state), the Myanmar National Democratic Alliance Army attacked the Myanmar military IB-291 with bombs attached to a drone three times. This attack was part of 'Operation 1027' which is a joint operation of the Brotherhood Alliance (MNDAA, TNLA, and AA). Casualties unknown.
