On 18 August 2019 at night, a Taliban-planted landmine detonated on a NATO tank in the Marghan Kechi area of Daman district, Kandahar. The Taliban claimed all those aboard were killed and wounded; zero fatalities coded as NATO deaths were not confirmed by international sources.
