On 12 November 2023, Hezbollah forces fired anti-tank missiles from Lebanon toward the area of Dovev (Zefat, HaZafon) in northern Israel. At least six civilians, including employees of the Israel Electric Corporation, were injured as a result of a direct hit near Dovev. Some estimates state that as many as 15 civilians were injured by the direct hit. One person was critically injured, while several others were seriously wounded. One of the injured electric company workers died when he succumbed to his wounds the next day.
