On 16 November 2023, a civilian food convoy escorted by soldiers was hit by a tricycle bomb likely planted by JNIM or IS Sahel militants in the village of Djamana (Titabe, Yagha). Six civilians were killed. The explosion occurred when the civilians in the convoy tried to move the said tricycle that was obstructing part of the road.
