Class XII boy arrested for throwing bombs at journalist’s internet centre

Madurai: Nanguneri police on Tuesday arrested a Class XII student for hurling country bombs a computer centre owned by a TV news channel reporter near the Nanguneri taluk office. One of the three bombs he hurled at the centre exploded damaging the board. The juvenile was remanded and lodged in borstal home later in the evening. He claimed that he hurled the bombs as he was upset with the reporter, S Vanamamalai, over a news item.
