Air Delivered event in South Darfur, El Daein area, Sudan on Tue 21st November 2023

Citizens revealed that the 20th Infantry Division in Al-Daein was subjected to aerial bombardment on Tuesday morning after the Rapid Support Forces took control of the city, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries. Confirming that the Rapid Support Forces received the division headquarters with full weapons and equipment.

A journalist from East Darfur told Radio Dabanga that the city witnessed looting, especially at its gates and in some neighborhoods, and pointed to the deployment of armed men wearing civilian clothes in the market for protection in coordination with the civil administration. He warned that most of the shops in the city would be closed with a state of terror and panic.

He confirmed the continuation of the displacement movement from the neighborhoods adjacent to the 20th Division headquarters to other neighborhoods, with the displacement of people from Al-Daein to outside it. He warned of a significant increase in fuel prices.
