One intelligence personnel, identified as Mohammed Umer, was shot dead by unidentified assailants near the A.O. Clinic in Nazimabad town of Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh, in the morning of November 12, reports Dawn. Asif Mazari, a Police officer at the Nazimabad Police Station, said that the victim was an employee of a “sensitive institution”. Police said that Umer was sitting near the famous hospital along with his colleague, Qasim, when three unidentified assailants riding on a motorbike came, opened indiscriminate fire on him and rode away. Umer suffered three bullet injuries and later succumbed to injuries at hospital.
