On November 7, at least 12 persons including two Manipur Police personnel sustained injuries in coordinated attacks by heavily armed Kuki militants upon Meitei villages at different places in Kangpokpi, Imphal East and Imphal West Districts of Manipur, reports The Sangai Express and Northeast Now. Two Commandos of Manipur Police and four women were among eight persons, who sustained bullet injuries, when Kuki militants opened unprovoked firing from the hilltop of the Kangchup along the inter-District border of Kangpokpi and Imphal West Districts in Manipur.
