One Border Security Force (BSF) constable, Chandraprakash Sewal, and two polling officials were injured when an Improvised Explosive Device (IED), planted by the cadres of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) and activated by a pressure plate, detonated in the Rengagondi region in Kanker District of Chhattisgarh on November 6, a day before the first phase of voting in the state, reports The Times of India.
