On November 1, Arunachal Pradesh Police and 6 Assam Rifles arrested an over ground worker (OGW)of Yung Aung faction of National Socialist Council of Nagaland-Khaplang (NSCN-K-YA)identified as Myanmar national Pelei Khangnyakam (25)at Sumsipathar Village under Deomali sub-division in Tirap District of Arunachal Pradesh, reports Arunachal Times. The OGW was working for Myanmar based NSCN-KYA cadre identified as Self-Styled ‘Captain’ Rocky Thapa and was carrying out extortion activities in the surrounding villages. An extortion note in the name of Rocky Thapa, three live 7.62 mm ammunition and one mobile phone were recovered from the possession of the OGW.
