On 9 November 2023, US warplanes stationed in Omar - Oil Fields conducted airstrikes in addition to rocket shelling targeting pro-Iranian militias and Iranian IRGC positions and weapons depots in Al Bor Sa'eed street near the bakery in Deir-ez-Zor city, killing nine pro-Iranian militiamen three of whom are Syrians, and injuring others some of whom seriously. 9 fatalities.
