On 4 November 2023, in Lay Ein Su village (Phyu township, Taungoo district, Bago-East region), an unknown armed group fired heavy weapons around 4:30 am, fell into the village and a 7-year-old girl was killed, a 14-year-old girl and a 51-year-old woman were injured. They were sent to the Phyu Hospital to receive treatment. The culprit of the attack was unknown.
