On 7 November 2023, in Mar Le Taw village of Sagaing township (Sagaing district, Sagaing region), joint forces of Phoenix (SGG), People's Defense Force - Myinmu, Anyar Thar Lay (SGG), Unicorn Guerrilla Force, Royal Falcon Guerrilla Force, FFF: Fight For Federal, People's Defense Force - Sagaing (PaKaPha), the People's Defense Force - Sagaing District Battalion-7 carried out a mine attack against the Myanmar military troops and Pyu Saw Htee who came out to buy food and supplies at around 6:30 am while they were heading towards the Sagaing-Shwebo highway. Myanmar Pressphoto Agency reported a Pyu Saw Htee member was killed and about 10 others sustained injuries. Khit Thit Media reported two military soldiers died. Fatalities coded as 3.
