On 30 July 2020, a car-bomb planted by an unknown armed group exploded targeting a Hamza Brigade checkpoint and National Police Forces, as well as JWS who are operating under OPS west of Tell Halaf town in Al-Hasakeh countryside, killing between 6 to 9 people including checkpoint members accodring to conflicted reports, and injuring more than fifteen other military personnel and civilians.
