On 7 November 2023, a Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA) trooper was injured in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast triggered by the Naxal-Maoist cadres, while on an area domination operation, from Tondamarka camp towards Elmagunda village (Sukma District, Chhattisgarh) during the legislative assembly elections in the state.
