Members from the Bomb Squad and the Jamaica Fire Brigade are currently at the Dominica Towers in New Kingston following a bomb threat at the premises on Tuesday.

The building houses parts of the Ministry of Economic Growth and Job Creation.

Security forces have also urged scores of persons in and around the building to evacuate the area as fears mount that bombs may also be planted at other buildings.

There are reports that some of the evacuees are in medical destress.
