On 3 November 2023, Al Shabaab suicide bomber detonated a suicide vest, and targeted police forces at a checkpoint at the Sayidka junction at the Baar-Bulsho area in Mogadishu - Hawl Wadaag (Banadir). The suicide bomber was killed. One police officer was injured.
