On 29 October 2023, in Pa Kar Ri village of Dawei township (Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), the Dawei Defense Team (DDT) and allied forces fired six rounds of 120 mm and 81 mm heavy artillery shells against the Myanmar police forces station in the village at around 7:30 pm. Casualties unknown.
