On 30 October 2023, in Nyaunglebin township (Bago district, Bago-East region), the Myanmar military LIB-20 based in Nyaunglebin township and IB-264 based in Peinzalok town Lay Su Mhan Taing area fired a total of nineteen 122 mm and 81 mm artillery rounds at around 8:12 pm and some of the rounds landed in Yae Hpyu Kan and Nyaung Pin Gyi villages, hitting and injuring a one-and-half-year-old, a 3-year-old, a 28-year-old and a 27-year-old from Yae Hpyu Kan village.
