On 2 November 2023, in Nam Hpat Kar (Ho Pong + Pang Sa Lorp) village (Kutkai township, Muse district, Shan-North state), the Myanmar military conducted an airstrike around 2:30 pm and a 65-year-old woman was killed. Other sources, Kachin News Group and Shan Herald Agency for News, reported that an explosion occurred in the village at around 4 pm and killed a 50-year-old woman while the military (IB-123) airlifting some rations for their ground troops nearby.
