A suicide drone targeted on Saturday at midnight the Iranian Consulate in Aleppo, northwestern Syria, resulting in four injuries within a building located in the vicinity of the consulate.

The attack is the first of its kind on the Iranian Consulate in Aleppo since the outbreak of the conflict between Hamas and Israel on Oct. 7, amid growing tensions in Syria and Iraq.

A medical source from al-Razi government hospital told North Press that the attack resulted in civilian injuries, including children, who were in a garden adjacent to the consulate, which is run by Iranian-backed militias.
