The Russian Reconciliation Center in Syria at Khmeimim Airbase, a Syrian airbase currently operated by Russia, announced, on Sunday, that Russian forces had carried out airstrikes on a drone warehouse for “militants” in Idlib Governorate, northwest Syria.

Deputy chief of the Center, Vadim Kulit, stated that Russian air forces conducted airstrikes on a warehouse of drones belonging to “militants involved in shelling the Syrian government’s posts,” according to Reuters.

Platforms affiliated with the Syrian opposition reported that Russian warplanes launched airstrikes on the hills of Kabina in the northeastern countryside of Latakia Governorate, western Syria, and the western outskirts of Jisr al-Shughur in Idlib.

The Syrian government and the Syrian opposition in Turkey exchange accusations regarding the shelling operations affecting their areas of control within the de-escalation zone. These operations often result in casualties on both sides, according to press reports.
