On October 29, the Police arrested a key operative of the Bambiha gang identified as Lovepreet Singh alias Gagan Dhillon associated with Canada-based gangster Prince Chauhan, and recovered one .30-bore pistol and 5 rounds, in Sahibzada Ajit Singh (SAS) Nagar District of Punjab, reports The Tribune. Another operative Harmanpreet Singh managed to evade capture. Charges were filed against Prince Chauhan, Harmanpreet Singh, Lovepreet Singh, and other unidentified gang members for extortion, conspiracy, and illegal weapons possession. Lovepreet and Harmanpreet stored the gang's weapons and executed extortion and targeted killings of singers on Chauhan's orders.
