On 25 October 2023, in Taze town (Taze township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Taze PDF and their allied force attacked the military and Pyu Saw Htee with mines near the Taze market at around 5 am, killing 2 Pyu Saw Htee. 2 locals that came to the market were also injured during the mine attack.
