On 27 October 2023, in Nyaung Kone village (coded as Nyaung Kone (Lower)) (Mogoke township, Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the Myanmar military based in Mogoke town fired over 10 artillery rounds towards the village from 7:30 am until 9 am and another 14 artillery rounds at around 2:30 pm. Some houses were damaged by artillery shells. Casualties unknown.
