On 27 October 2023, in Laukkaing township (Laukkaing District, Shan State), an unidentified armed group blew up the Nam Tein bridge which connects between Chinshwehaw and Hopang towns with mines in the morning. The explosion occurred during a clash between the MNDAA and the military in Chinshwehaw town (coded separately). The DVB reported that the MNDAA blew up the bridge, while other sources were not able to identify a responsible group for the explosion. Casualties unknown.
