On 26 October 2023, a sub-inspector of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)'s 60 battalion was injured after being hit by an iron rod and arrow (spike hole) planted by Naxal-Maoist rebels in the forested hilly area around Hathiburu and Limsadih under the Goilkera Police Station area (West Singhbhum District, Jharkhand), during a search operation. Six spike holes were destroyed.
