The Security Forces (SFs) recovered two Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) of five kilogrammes each suspected to have been planted by Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist) with the aim of causing harm to Police personnel in the forested hilly area around Tumbahaka village under Tonto Police Station area in West Singhbhum District of Jharkhand on October 22, reports jagran.com. Later on, both the IEDs were destroyed at the same place, following the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP). The search operation was launched following information that the top leaders of the CPI-Maoist organisation, Misir Besra, Anmol, Mochhu, Chaman, Kande, Ajay Mahato, Sagen Angriya, and Ashwin, along with their squad members, were roaming in the Kolhan Forest area for subversive activities.
