On October 22, two militants were killed as Security Forces (SF) foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector of Baramulla District in Jammu and Kashmir (J&K), reports Daily Excelsior. After launching an operation based on specific input, the SFs established contact with the militants and a gunfight ensued. The SF teams recovered two AK series rifles, six pistols, and four Chinese grenades from the possession of the deceased, the report informed.
