Rocket event in Kapisa, Hes-e Awal Kohistan area, Afghanistan on Fri 20th October 2023

A rocket attack occurred on the Hes-e Awal Kohistan district’s building in Kapisa Province on October 20, reports Hasht-E Subh. Residents claimed that five rockets were fired at the building; however, it remains unclear whether the rockets hit the building or not. According to local residents, an armed confrontation took place between Taliban fighters and unidentified armed individuals after the rocket launch. As of now, there is no information available regarding potential casualties resulting from this incident. The Taliban have not issued any statements concerning the attack yet.
