Undefined Explosive Device (UED) event in Chhattisgarh, Amarpur area, India on Mon 16th October 2023

During an anti-Naxal [Left Wing Extremism, LWE] operation, the Police search team recovered a tiffin bomb, suspected to be planted by the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), from a forest path near the Amarpur village under the Mohgaon Police Station area of the Khairagarh-Chhuikhadan-Gandai District of Chhattisgarh on October 16, reports naidunia.com. The tiffin bomb weighing four kilogrammes had a wire attached to it, which was later diffused safely by the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS). Apart from the tiffin bomb, electronic circuit mechanisms, batteries, 40 twine bombs, electric wire, medicines, and a large quantity of incriminating material were also found.
