On 14 October 2023, in Kyar Ni Kan village (Patheingyi township, Mandalay district, Mandalay region), the People's Defense Force - Madaya (PaKaPha) and the People's Defense Force - Pyinoolwin District battalion - 1 company 1 attacked the Kyar Ni Kan police station with 40 mm grenade launcher two times at 12:50 pm. Two police were injured. EMG reported that those injured were a police and a family member.
