On 16 October 2023, Ethiopian Air Force carried out drone strikes targeting 'several' Fano militias who were on a truck in Meteteh Bila (in Polis Tabiya Sefer), Berehet woreda (North Shewa, Amhara) and killed an unknown number of Fano militias. An unidentified number of fatalities mentioned coded as 10. Some sources reported a second strike, resulting in 10 fatalities.
