On 17 October 2023, in Nattalin township (Thayarwady district, Bago-West region), a combined force of the Thayarwady District PDF (battalion 3801) and the Phoenix Defense Force (Nattalin) carried out mine attacks against about 40 Myanmar military troops coming from Tha Pyay Pin Thone Lone Pyu area at around 8:22 am. Two military troops were killed and several injured.
