On 17 October 2023, in Kyaukkyi township (Taungoo district, Bago-East region), artillery shells fired by the Myanmar military (LIB-264) landed in Kha Yu Kone farm at around 11:15 am. On the same day, artillery shells fired by military landed in Taung Hkin village at around 6:42 pm and in Ywar Thar Yar village at around 8:30 pm. Casualties unknown.
