On 18 October 2023, near Ye-U township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), joint forces of the People's Defense Force - Ye-U and PDF - Shwebo District Battalion-14 carried out three mine attacks against the Myanmar military troops (LID-701, 708) and Pyu Saw Htee member who came out Ye-U Traditional Hospital. The first attack was launched at 6:30 am near Thea Taw Moe using a mine. The second attack was launched near Let Tan-1 using a mine at around 10:55 am. And, the final attack was carried out at Let Tan - 5 at around 1:20 pm. Six military soldiers died and six others were injured.
