Six shells fell on Omdurman's Jebel Aulia mountain on Tuesday morning, causing damage to the Jebel Aulia Primary School for Girls.

A resident of Jebel Aulia told Radio Dabanga that the shells were fired by the Rapid Support Forces towards a military camp and army positions in the Jebel Aulia area. He explained that some of them landed on uninhabited houses after the residents had evacuated to the White Nile State due to the intensification of battles in the region.

The situation in the area was described as difficult, with ongoing battles and attempts by several residents of Jebel Aulia to flee to the White Nile State to escape the horrors of the conflict.
