In the Samara region, a support for the Azot-Bugulma power line was blown up. The incident was recorded on October 20, when a Rosseti employee noticed damage to one of the supports during a routine inspection.
Information from the Base indicates that the damage was discovered at a distance of approximately 4 km from the village of Mukhovka. The base of the concrete support was destroyed and the post was broken. This incident required immediate intervention, and specialized services were sent to the scene.
As a result of the inspection, fragments of the plastic casing of the IED were found. Research has shown that the explosive used was made from acetone triperoxide, with the total mass of the explosive being about 1 kg.
The question of exactly when this explosion took place remains open. The last regular inspection of this particular transmission tower is known to have been carried out in May 2023.
