On 13 October 2023, RSF shelled artillery targeting civilians in multiple location, including schools used as IDPs shelters and a mosque in blocks 25 and 29 in Karari (Karrari, Khartoum). At least 17 were killed and dozens were wounded. Some reports mentioned that more than 20 were killed.
