On 7 October 2023, in Salingyi township (Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Brother Defense Force - Yinmarbin and the Dark Guerrilla Force carried out a mine attack against a column of around 30 soldiers who left from Wanbao-Yangsi company compound near a 16-bedded township hospital at around 8 am. The military fired back with small weapons. Three military troops were killed, and two others sustained severe injuries.
