At least one woman was killed and six others sustained injuries when unidentified assailants threw a hand grenade into a three-storey building in Aagra Taj colony of Lyari Town in Karachi, the provincial capital of Sindh, on October 16, reports ARY News. South Karachi Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIGP) Syed Asad Raza said that unidentified assailants on a motorcycle threw a hand grenade outside a shop that had been closed for months before fleeing the scene. While dead women was identified as 35-year-old Razia Mohammed Ali, the injured were identified as Zohaib Javed, Khairullah, Wansh Dileep Kumar, Ateeqa Adam, Adil Adam and Ahsan Nabi.
