On October 11, the Police, arrested three operatives identified as Jaswinder Singh, Lovepreet Singh, and Gurpartap Singh from Ajnala Town in the Amritsar District of Punjab, for planning target killings in in the state, reports The Tribune. The accused had connections with a designated terrorist and member of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) Harvinder Singh alias Rinda, in Pakistan. They seized two pistols, three magazines, and 11 bullets. The group had received a weapons consignment from across the Indo-Pak border and aimed to target political and socio-religious leaders, said the report.
